Over 5,500 exoplanets have been detected so far, however, just a few hundred years ago it was atypical to discover a new planet. Learn the dramatic stories of the discoveries of Uranus and Neptune, whose presence doubled the size of our solar system and then doubled it again! You will learn about the interesting cast of characters who made these discoveries possible. It's a story of improved telescopes, complex mathematics, and bitter national rivalries that reveals the complexities of how science really works.
