This class will introduce you to the basic movements in Belly Dance. Class time is spent on warming up, dance conditioning,body isolations, short combinations and ends with a cool down that stretches the body. You’ll learn basic dance technique,posture, alignment, traveling steps and turns. Dancers with previous experience will be given additional layers of movement to challenge them and help promote growth.

Please read:  Please wear comfortable clothing- workout clothes or dance wear. Bare feet or socks are best. If you need shoes, please wear either ballet or jazz shoes without heels. A shawl or shimmy belt for your hips is useful, but optional. Bring an easy-going attitude; the accent is on learning in a stress free, supportive environment!
