Certificate Program:CNC Machinist Certificate Program
You will explore the basics in machining, hand tools, safety, maintenance, drawings, manual machines and layout. Gain an understanding of manual and CNC milling practices, CNC lathe turning practices as well as applied mathematics, teamwork, critical thinking and problem solving. Hands-on experience and practical applications are included. Pre-requisites for this course include completion of NCRC test and career interest survey. Classes included: Measurement, Materials, and Safety; Job Planning, Benchwork, and Layout; CNC Milling (Operator) Level 1; CNC Lathe (Operator) Level 1.
